What’s New On Netflix For January 2018 #StreamTeam

Hello all. It’s another edition of WHAT TO READ, WATCH & LISTEN TO THIS MONTH and this time I’m sharing what’s new on  Netflix for January 2018. Gosh, that sounds so strange to say. It’s 2018. Can you believe it? I’m still writing 2016 on stuff. It’s crazy stupid that in just two short years we’ll be at 2020. I can’t even think about. Thank goodness Netflix keeps me busy.

Now for those of you who don’t know, I’m a huge Netflix junkie. I cannot get enough Netflix. I love Netflix so much and there aren’t enough possible hours in a day for me to watch everything that interests me. Right now I’m currently watching quite a few things. The problem is that Netflix keeps adding more and more stuff to the point where I’m never going to leave my house again. But that’s okay with Netflix on the Go feeding my impossible addiction, I’m covered. Here are my top three favorite shows on my watch list.

Riverdale Season 2

If you have not seen Season One of Riverdale, grab your remote and get started. This is by far one of the best Netflix Original series I have watched next to Stranger Things. Archie, Veronica, Jughead, and Betty are in for more mystery and intrigue as a killer is on the loose in Riverdale. But who is it? Who is out to destroy the very foundation of the town? You’ll have to watch to find out.

I have to tell you I am loving this show so much. The characters are cool, and I get a bit of that nostalgic considering I used to unwrap my gum just to read my tiny Archie comic stuck inside. Riverdale is so much more though. It’s funny and yet a thriller at the same time with characters that are likable and some not so likable. Overall though, it’s just fun to watch.

Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee

There are two things Jerry Seinfeld loves. His collection of vintage and modern sports cars and coffee with friends. That’s what Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee is all about. It’s a very cool show. I have watched five episodes so far. The first was with Jim Carry and the second Jimmy Fallon.

I love that Jerry takes his friends on different journey’s to different places, and talks about their role in the entertainment industry and things they love. Add a mixture of coffee and great food and some hilarious moments, and the show kind of makes you feel like you are tagging along for a Sunday afternoon drive.

One Day At A Time (Season 2)

I love love love this show. I can’t help it. It makes me laugh out loud. It is my second favorite comedy show on Netflix next to The Ranch that puts me into fits of giggles. One Day At A Time is a reboot, and it is the story of a three-generation Cuban-American family, including a single mom and military vet (Machado) as well as her mother (Moreno) and two kids.

I waited forever for season two to start which is my fault because I binge-watched season one in one night. This time, I’m going to take my time and savor each episode. I’m going to enjoy the laughs and antics. I’m a mom so I can relate to how down to earth and real to the life this comedy show truly is.

With so many great titles to watch. So many original shows. I can’t wait to see what is in store for us in February. Not that I have room on my watch list.
