VIKINGS HISTORY®’s Hit Drama Series Sets Sail for Season Three

Faith and Family are tested as The History Channels hit show Vikings sets sail for season three starting Thursday, February 19, 10 pm ET/PT and hubby is stoked for this season to begin.

My husband loves this show and he hopes season three brings even more spectacular graphics and drama the first two seasons promised and delivered. Season three of History’s scripted drama series returns with 10 episodes. Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) former farmer is now the King and bears great responsibility on his shoulders for everyone around him.

There is a promise of new land from the English, Ragnar finds himself leading his people to an uncertain fate on the shores of Wessex. King Ecbert (Linus Roache) has made many a promise and we will all sit and wonder if he makes good on those promises. Will he keep them?

This season of Viking’s Ragnar searches for more and will find himself in the mythical city of Paris that is rumoured to have impenetrable forces. Ragnar and his band of Norsemen must come together to break down the walls and cement the Vikings legend in history.

This is a gripping family saga of Ragna, Rollo and Bjorn (Canadian Alexander Ludwig) and their continued alliances and friendships which come into question, faith and relationships are strained. This extraordinary tale showcases the lives and epic adventures of these amazing warriors from the Dark Ages, a world ruled by raiders and explorers.

You can catch up on Vikings on shomi. Season 2 is available on Global Go, GlobalTV.com and History on Demand which is where we watch it. You can learn more at History.ca.
