Timberline Country Christmas Event: Maple Ridge

The holidays are all about making memories and what better way than to spend a day together as a family attending a once in a lifetime Country Christmas at Timberline Ranch.

This family Christmas event runs from December 2 – 20th at the Timberline Ranch in Maple Ridge. It’s their second season hosting this event, but Timberline is no stranger when it comes to family, running summer camps annually.

The magic of Christmas starts at Timberline. There is so much to see and do that not only will your kids have fun but you will, too! Timberline Events include

Christmas Tree Display & Contest – Vote for your favorite tree that has been decorated by a local business.

Origins of Christmas – Interact physically with small displays that explain where our holiday traditions come from. Dive into where Mistletoe came from, Christmas trees, where Santa is from and how Christmas stockings came to be.

Bakery – Decorate a large, delicious cookie and then eat it.

Petting Zoo – Enjoy friendly animals like llamas, donkeys, miniature horses, bunnies, goats and more.

Workshop – Make a unique Christmas ornament that you can take home with you.

SnowVille – Test your skills at the snow-themed ball pit with snowman targets and fun games.

Covered Wagon Ride – Climb aboard for a 10-min ride around the ranch and get off at the barn.

Barn Maze – Find your way through this amazing indoor maze to find three hidden treasures.

Nativity Scene – Visit with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus and the Shepherds at the manager.

Storyland – Hear and see as a story come to life about a young shepherd boy who was present on the incredible Christmas evening. Not included with school visits.

Family Photo Spot – Bring your own camera and take some photos for that country look Christmas.

Game Zone – Enjoy fun activities while waiting for the covered wagon.

Pony Rides – Pre-book these rides for only $5.00 (+GST) per child 12 and under.

Timberland Cafe – An assortment of snacks, hot dogs, cold and hot drinks are available for sale in the lodge building.

Family Fun

I can’t think of a better way to spend some holiday time together than to head on over to Timberline. Riding horses. Petting animals. And just basically enjoying the festivities. What a great idea and so close to home!

Have you ever been to a ranch at Christmas time?
