I have never been much of a couponer. I have no idea how to really get started doing it, and I often envy my friends and the savings they achieve in finding the biggest and best deals both online and in stores. Then a friend suggested I visitwhich is a site dedicated to not only helping you discover the best way to shop and save, but how to put those #HolidayCents back into your pockets.
RetailMeNot has coupons to use both online and in store for every store you can imagine. Staples, Best Buy, ToysRUs, Walmart and many more. Jumping into the site, I decided to look up Old Navy and that’s when I saw that the store online and in store was having a 60% off store-wide three-day event.
Just so you know this deal ends tomorrow. So hurry up if you want to catch some great buys and save $$$$ now! Just like I did. I hopped in my car instead of ordering online and went straight to my nearest Old Navy store. Since summer, Trace has grown several inches and he was in dire need of some new clothes. I walked in and showed the first sales girl the above coupon deal and she told me yes most of the store was 60% off. So of course, I grabbed a cart and had some fun!
The first thing I wanted to look for was a jacket. Every store I’ve been to, jackets for kids run about fifty bucks or more. Now that may not seem like a lot of money to buy a winter coat for you kid, but for someone like me living on disability spending fifty dollars is a lot. So when I snagged this Canvas Grey Charles Winter Jacket for Trace and paid only 21.50. Well, let’s just say I was jumping for joy!
After shopping for the day and using RetailMeNot.ca’s website. I couldn’t happier! And I will show you why. Take a peek at the other items I picked up for my son. Everything from a knit sweater, to much needed jogging pants to a pair of boot shoes to help keep his feet warm.
And the savings didn’t stop there. Of course, I went browsing for myself. I wanted to see if I could pick up something to wear for the holidays, comfortable and without spending too much. I hate buying myself clothes because everything always costs a lot. But not this time. I picked up a pencil skirt (black) for 10 bucks, and a knit sweater that is warm and cozy for $15 dollars.
When I stepped up to the till to pay, my bill came to $135 dollars. Below my receipt showed my savings and even the girl at the till was surprised at how well I did. My receipt shows I saved $98 dollars and that’s all because I used RetailsMeNot.ca If it wasn’t for them, I never would have discovered the 60% off three-day deal and saved myself a whack of money during this tough holiday season.

I picked up a camera for myself and saved $35 off it from Best Buy which is incredible savings. Now I can enjoy the holidays taking pics of my family and even selfies if I want. How cool is that? Imagine getting deals from all the stores you not only want to shop at but need to in order to pick up day to day items, clothing, gifts and more!

I want to thankfor showing me how to save money. I’m being honest when I say raising kids nowadays money isn’t always something you can spend. So these savings I got on my son’s clothing were truly appreciated. It means I don’t have to worry about him being cold this winter and I can spend the money I saved on other things. To me, that’s a blessing!
