How to Wash Your Hands Properly The Right Way!

My son is a kid who touches everything.  Having a child with SPD (Sensory Processing Disorder) means having a child who hates getting messy though.

Trace can’t stand getting stuff on his hands, face or even body and is a cleanliness freak when it comes to it, which means washing his hands is extremely important to him and he does so about five to ten times daily.

So when Lysol gave us a chance to try out their No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser, both Trace and I were thrilled!

Lysol Decorate Your Hand Soap Dispenser and Win Contest!

Lysol Canada is challenging parents to get crafty and is running a Decorate Your Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser Campaign for their No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser, and Trace couldn’t wait to jump in and decorate his dispenser just for him!

Trace’s Vision: To decorate a cleaning monster who vaporizes the bad germs that enter our body when we don’t wash our hands enough. His idea was to create germs and put them all over the dispenser, then create the monster who fights the germs. I love the way he thinks.

He started out by getting me to put the word C… L… E…A…N across the front of the dispenser. I was careful not to cover up the sensory area so the dispenser would still work since it is motion activated.

We used cut-out letters, pipe cleaners that sparkle, red sparkle glue, bobble eyes, and fluffy sparkle balls as germs.

Once the words were put on the dispenser, Trace began adding the germs that the Lysol Clean Monster would fight.

I am very impressed with our finished product. Of course, it was a team effort working together on the Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser, making sure all the germs were where they should be, and then adding on the eyes and the rest of the decorations.

The Lysol No-Touch Hand Soap Dispenser works like charm!  Easy to use, it works via the sensory portal on the front. Kids simply place their hands underneath the spout tap and wait a second then the right amount of soap comes out and drops into their hands for them to wash their hands with ease.
