One of the hottest food trends this fall is “comfort food” — a healthy, upscale and modern approach to cooking and Kellogg’s All-Bran is making it easy for consumers to indulge and enjoy with new recipes from top chefs across the country. Each dish offers tasty, fibre-filled twists on comfort classics that will not only engage your tastebuds but surprise your senses.
I will admit All-Bran is not something I usually incorporate into my cooking. Heck, I don’t even eat the cereal. Or at least, I didn’t. Until now. Getting older and being in my forties, I never realized how important it is to have a good balance of bran implemented into your diet. All-Bran gives you energy and keeps your body balanced in the “right way” and All Bran although a little plain for my tastes as just a cereal can now be used for so much more than just muffins.
Kellogg’s Challenges Canadians to Get Their Bran-On!
Kellogg’s All-Bran has partnered with three top Canadian chefs to create on-trend, restaurant quality comfort dishes that include the healthy kick of fibre we all need. Chef Craig Harding from Campagnolo (Toronto), Chef Connie DeSousa from Charcut (Calgary) and Chef Alexandre Gosselin from Chez Victoire (Montreal) are putting flavour and flare first with fifteen new high fibre recipes that are sure to impress.
Inspiration from All-Bran
Taking a visit to the All-Bran Pinterest Board, I found a galore of recipes that look so yummy. I can’t wait to try them! Everything from BBQ recipes to desserts using All-Bran to help give you a healthier alternative and keep your body feeling great can be found there.
This fall, Kellogg’s is challenging Canadians to add All-Bran to their own recipes. I’m going to give it a try. I use All-Bran to make muffins but never thought of incorporating it into something like Chicken lasagna or Pumpkin Cheesecake. Yum!
