Taking care of your hair isn’t always easy. The elements cause so much damage. Wind, rain, sun, dryness, heat, not to mention the things we do styling our hair. So, let’s cut to the chase. Here are 7 ways to care for your hair this summer that will leave you feeling fantastic!
Wash Your Hair

Washing your hair properly goes a long way to keeping it healthy. Don’t over wash or it will dry your hair out. Although some people don’t wash their hair at all. Ewwwwwwwwww.
Use The Right Shampoo
Hask with Argan Oil is one of my favorite shampoos. It’s like getting a wish from a genie with a magic lamp. Argon Oil or ‘liquid gold’ is amazing and smells incredible. It’s loaded with vitamins and antioxidants.
Condition The Hair
This is not the right way to condition your hair. No. No. No. Conditioning your hair is an art form that doesn’t require wet t-shirts. Fine hair? Use an oil treatment before you shampoo. Work your conditioner to the ends. Leave it on for at least five minutes for more moisture.
Drying Your Hair

Don’t be chewy. Let your hair dry naturally without using a blow dryer. Wrap your hair in something soft, unlike a fiber towel which can be hard on the hair. Don’t brush your hair wet either, it can damage and break the ends. If you do use heat to dry your hair, use a heat resistant spray to help keep the moisture inside.
Deep Conditioning
I picked up this Hask Deep Conditioning pack from Sally’s and let me tell you it is amazing. But don’t deep condition all the time or you’ll look like a limp noodlehead. Just use enough to really enrich the follicles of your hair without bulking them down.
Brushing Your Hair

Brushing your hair too much can damage your hair. I like to use a comb with wide teeth to slip through the hair easier, especially to get out those nasty tangles. Even your fingers are better.
Choose the Right Products
It’s okay to be picky about the products you choose to put in your hair. From shampoo to conditioner, hair masks, oils, heating sprays, gels, along with how you treat your hair, brushing, combing, hair drying, curling. All of these decisions and how you make them will help to keep your hair looking its best.

Thanks for all the tips! Now you’ve got me really interested in trying products with Argan Oil.
Oh I’m in love with Argan Oil, it’s helped my hair grow and stay healthy. Thanks for reading 🙂
Luckly, I don’t need to brush my hair to often, since my hair is all curly. I do however need the curler from time to time to get some of my hair strands in order 🙂
oh I love curly hair. Mine is straight but curls nice. Still always envious of someone with curly hair.
