Poise Impressa Changed My Life!

This post was sponsored by Poise Impressa as part of an Ambassador Activation for Influence Central. I received complimentary product to facilitate my review. (Giveaway below)

I had an opportunity this past week to give my slight leakage problems a run for their money. Okay more like my tidal waves of incontinence problems whenever I laugh, snicker, sneeze, move around or just sit. And I’m not alone. In fact, 49% of Canadian women are in the same boat I am.

I’ve also talked to you guys about Poise Impressa Bladder Supports and how great I think the concept of them are. Well now I want to share with you whether or not they actually worked for me.

Suffering from SUI (Stress Urinary Incontinence) isn’t fun. I have a hard time leaving the house, going out, visiting friends or attending blog events because I’m always afraid one cough and I’m going to soil my pants like a baby. I’m not kidding. Having to squeeze my legs so tight I can actually make a thigh master jealous just to stop the leaks, leaves me feeling embarrassed and completely depressed. I can’t even think about attending holiday parties or wearing that favorite black dress of mine.

Up until now woman have had no other option but to wear bladder control pads which often lead to infections. Or bladder leakage diaper products which are not always comfortable.

Poise Impressa Bladder Supports are over the counter which is great. And Poise offers a sizing kit for only $9.99 allowing you to try all three sizes, giving you the best fit possible. You can find them at any local retailer.

I started out with size one (the smallest) being that I’ve got a narrow passage and tampons have always felt extremely uncomfortable for me to wear. I wasn’t sure how Poise Impressa Bladder Supports were going to be different or if they would even fit right. Size one fit me perfect.

Using the Poise Impressa Bladder Supports was fairly simple with the unique applicator tip which resembles a tampon. I couldn’t really feel it. Moving around caused me no discomfort. But the real test came about an hour later when I got my first coughing fit. I was extremely surprised. No urine came out. No leakage. No pain. I almost couldn’t believe it.

I have to admit, I was a bit nervous not using my pads, and I felt slight pressure on my bladder the way you would if you used a tampon. Taking the support out was a bit trickier than putting it in, and it did cause some slight discomfort. But once I got the hang of it everything was a breeze. Poise Impressa Bladder Supports stopped my leaks before they started.

You should never wear Poise Impressa Bladder Supports for longer than 8 hours in a 24 hour period. I wore my first one for five hours. My second one the next day while going out in the evening I wore for the full 8. No more wet undies. No more holiday hiccups.

Shoppers Drug Mart and Poise both believe that women can #LiveWithoutLeaks. They believe it so much they are giving away to one of our lucky readers a $50.00 gift card so that you can try Poise Impressa Bladder Supports for yourself.

Giveaway is open for Canadian residents only. Giveaway ends December 25th Christmas Day! Extra entries are optional and are not mandatory in order to qualify but will gain you bonus entries and more chances to win. Good luck everyone!

Tell me why you think you would benefit from trying Poise Impressa Out for yourself? And please share this giveaway and post with your friends and family. We appreciate shares and likes, they are like virtual hugs and kisses ๐Ÿ™‚

  50. Judy Cowan December 11, 2016 at 10:20 am

  59. Elizabeth R December 11, 2016 at 4:58 am

Who wouldn’t want to try something new and innovative, it seems like such a good product for a very common problem.

  60. mylifeasamomsite December 11, 2016 at 4:34 am

I don’t need them yet but my mom has had bladder control problems for years and I think she would benefit from trying these. For years she has just used maxi pads nice to see that the companies have changed to make products for people like her.
