How My Husband Uses Scour Daddy to Clean His Car

by Jodi Shaw
In partnership with our friends at Scrub Daddy

Okay, so you’ve heard me talk about my absolute favorite sponge on the market, Scrub Daddy and how they have been introducing brand new products to add their scrubbing line such as the all-new Scrub Mommy sponge, which I use to do my dishes daily.

I love Scrub Daddy products because of how versatile they are and they actually get the job done. So when we heard Scrub Daddy was introducing another new product (with more scrubbing action) called Scour Daddy, my husband put it to the test by cleaning his car with it, and the results were amazing!

TIPMake sure you test a small area before using any type of cleaning product or cleaning tool on your vehicle.

I love my pearl-colored Fiat 500-L sport edition. It’s so much fun to drive. Keeping it clean on the other hand, not so easy. White may be one of the best colors for a car safety-wise, but it’s one of the worst when trying to keep it looking shiny and new.

We don’t always have a chance to hit the car wash, and when we do, it can cost us a fortune. This is where Scour Daddy makes hubby’s job so much easier in keeping the car clean.

Scour Daddy is 18% stronger than the competition and way cuter, don’t you think? With Armor-Tech mesh that is heat-treated to release particles of food, Scour Daddy can tackle even your worst burnt casserole dish. So, image what Scour Daddy can do on the chrome rim of your tires to get them clean.

The rims of our tires get filthy dirty. Scour Daddy helped make them shine as hubby got down and deep-cleaned each rim with one sponge. He loves how small the sponge is and yet durable enough to get into the tightest and dirtiest places on each rim.

But he didn’t stop there.

Corey decided to use Scour Daddy everywhere it was hard to remove dirt, such as the outside of our mirrors, door handles, and the bottom of the car beneath the door where streaks of dirt often remain even after washing.

Everything came out squeaky clean!

Look how shiny the mirror is.

Scour Daddy comes in three colors (yellow, blue and orange) to help make cross-contamination easier to control, and it comes with a small loop holder so you can hang it to dry to use it again.

Tip → Like any product, before using, check a small patch where nobody can see it and test out Scour Daddy before using it on your vehicle.

Scour Daddy has a Flex-Texture core that adds extra thickness, structure and absorbency, and the Armor-Tech mesh can be used on everything from steel to chrome. We used it everywhere on our car and it never left a single scratch or took any of the paint off.

We wish to thank our friends at Scrub Daddy for not only sharing these products with us and allowing us to share them with you guys but for making products like Scour Daddy that help take the tough out of clean by creating a product that actually works and works well.

You can pick up your 3-pack Scour Daddy set of sponges from local retailers such as Home Depot and Canadian Tire. Each pack is less than $6 bucks and can be reused again and again.

What would you Scour Daddy to clean?

The car looks great! Do you think this would work well on glass stove tops? It’s such a struggle to keep mine clean!

Hey, Jonnie. You can use it to clean glass stovetop. My brother also bought special stuff to clean his glass top. But the scrub daddy will remove any scrubbing dirt. Just run it under cold water if you want more heftier scrubbing action.

Hey Gord — LOL, you actually could. I use mine in the bathroom, kitchen, laundry room, on walls, glass, wood, tables it scratches nothing. I love them, honestly. I go through one a month.
