If Homer Simpson can make a Pina Colada, then so can you. It’s one of the easiest, tastiest drink recipes you’ll ever enjoy. So what is a Pina Colada? It’s a sweet, rum based cocktail made with creamy coconut, pineapple juice and served frothy in a glass with ice. Doesn’t that sound divine?
What you’ll need
The name Pina Colada means “strained pineapple” in reference to the pineapple juice that is used in the drink’s preparation. The drink dates back to 1948 and it’s ownership is contested. It doesn’t matter to me — all I know is you will totally enjoy this drink on a hot summer day.
