Disney’s PLANES: FIRE & RESCUE

 

 Disney is back at it again with the loveable characters from PLANES!  In this all new comedy adventure “Planes: Fire & Rescue” this movie is about second chances, featuring a crew that is devoted to protecting Piston Peak National Park from burning wildfire.  Dusty, the world famous air racer suddenly learns his engine is damaged and racing is out of the question for him. He decides to shift gears and finds himself launched into the world of aerial firefighting.  Dusty joins forces with veteran fire and rescue helicopter Blade Ranger and his team, a group of all-terrain vehicles known as the “Smokejumpers” and together the team must battle massive wildfire.  Dusty has to learn what it takes to become a true hero all over again.

My kids are super stoked to see this in the theater. We loved the first Disney’s Planes, and this one looks like even more fun with tons of great characters kids can relate to. I also think it’s a great way to bring awareness to how fires are not just fought in burning buildings. Everyday heroes go unrecognized, and Disney’s Planes: Fire & Rescue brings to light those heroes and what they do to keep us safe.
