When it comes to cooking, what you use as cookware is important. It’s not something I thought about as a young adult. Until my eggs sticking to the frying pan, or I had to scrub for hours just to get my supper off my baking dish. Who has hours to scrub the dishes? I know I don’t.
I don’t scrub anymore. Not since I was introduced to the Rock Cookware by Starfrit which by the way is one of the best creations on earth. I mean it, truly.
I can literally wipe out my cookware with a paper towel after I’m done the cooking. It’s easy-breezy cleaning up. As a busy mom, that is something to smile about.
Another thing to smile about is The Rock’s “Rocking Recipe” contest which you can enter >> here. I was super stoked when Starfrit asked me to use two of their products to cook up something yummy for my family and share this amazing giveaway with you guys. An opportunity to win The Rock Heritage Cookware set valued at $600 bucks!
One thing my kids love more than anything is breakfast for dinner. Hashbrowns and some type of sausage. We are trying to eat healthier which means not frying all our food.
With the Rock oven-ready ceramic baking dish you don’t have to use any oil, or at least very little. Rock technology diffuses heat slowly and evenly to allow flavorful and healthy cooking results. Plus, like I said it’s SUPER EASY to CLEAN!
So let’s get cooking.
Cheesy Jalapeno Hash
I often visit our local deli where we pick up fresh produce, buns, soups, and meat. One of my favorites is “Jalapeno Cheese” smoked sausage. It’s ohhhhhhhhh so yummy! And what I like to do with it is create a simple hash you can eat for breakfast, lunch or dinner (depending on your mood) This is as really simple meat and potatoes dish that is super yummy.
>> STEP 1. Cut up your yellow potatoes and sausage into small cubes or slices.
STEP 2. >> Once the potatoes are cut up throw them into your Rock Ceramic Oven-Ready dish.
You will be surprised at how much this 9.5″ x 13″ dish holds. It’s enough to feed four people, two of whom are teenage boys with never-ending stomaches.
STEP 3. >> Add two tbsp of extra virgin olive oil to your potatoes and some Clubhouse Steak spice which is amazingly delicious and mix it around into your potatoes until they are coated. Then add your sausage pieces.
STEP 4. >> Bake in the oven for 45 minutes or until the potatoes are as crispy as you want.
You can add some extra cheese, green or red peppers or onion. I’ve even added broccoli and carrots to this dish since my youngest is a veggie freak.
With this recipe, the sky is the limit!
The Rock Ceramic Oven-Ready dish, washed-out super easy with nothing sticking to the pan. I think it’s becoming my favorite piece of cookware. I love that you don’t have to use oil and it goes from oven to table. It’s easy to clean.
Plus it’s lead, cadmium, and PFOA-free. Dishwasher safe, of course, and even fridge and freezer safe. And the best part is it’s only $29.99 which is a total steal if you ask me. My next piece I’m going to check out is the Rock’s reversible griddle for eggs and waffles. Yum!
Starfrit The Rock is having a holiday contest where you can share your recipes for a chance to win a 10-piece Heritage the Rock cookware set. It’s easy to enter and open for Canadians only. Each recipe gets you one entry, and you must showcase your recipe in the Rock cookware.
Imagine winning a whole 10-piece cookware set that is easy to clean, easy to use, never sticks to your food. Trust me you wanna enter. I love my cookware from the Rock. I can’t live without it!
I partnered with Starfrit and received the above-mentioned products for the purpose of sharing this amazing giveaway with you guys. Good luck!
