The Best Places To Ski During Spring Break

Looking for the best places to ski during Spring Break, look no further. I know. I know. Nobody wants to think of snow right now, especially with the sun shining and flowers blooming. But you’d be surprised at how many people like to ski during the Easter holiday. It’s one of the best time to hit the slopes in fact and Whistler is just one of the best places to ski during Spring Break.

Whether it’s for families, serious skiers or people on a budget, there are options for everyone wanting to enjoy some sun on the mountain tops and resort quality amenities to help you celebrate the holidays. You can relax and unwind or party every night. Either way here is a few of the best places to ski during Spring Break.

Best Ski Resort for Food and Wine: Whistler Canada

One of the best places to ski during Spring Break is Whistler. Why? Well just ask the 2 million people who flock to Whistler to enjoy its state of the art facilities as well as its award-winning car-free village.

There are over 15 dining options, several bars, and spas so it comes as no surprise that Whistler is one of the best in ranking to help you indulge during your break. Not to mention the drive up the Sea to Sky is absolutely breathtaking!

Best Ski Resort for Apres Ski: Pasa de la Casa, Andorra

At this European resort, there are 5 bars to spend your evenings, and the average bottle of wine costs an extremely drinkable £6.25.  You can warm your cockles with inspirational drinks after a long but fun day on the slopes. Fantastic for beginners and average skiers, but beware not great for families with kids as the party season runs long.

Best Ski Resort on a Budget: Bansko, Bulgaria

A rising star, this lesser-known Bulgarian resort is quickly becoming a favorite with ski fans for its cheap beer £1.37 to its low-cost ski school £2.29 p/h and child passes as cheap as £67. A beer and burger come to less than a fiver! Winner four years in a row for the best ski resort.

Best Ski Resort for Serious Skiers: Tignes, France

Nestled high within the gorgeous Alps, a place I’ve been and a must-visit, this incredible resort has 300 kilometers of piste in total for skiers to roam the slopes for hours without getting bored. The longest run is 10k long. And for those who still want a child’s play, there is 4 other sport to try out. How about these for the most bizarre snowsports around the world.

Best Ski Resort for Instagrammers: Whistler, Canada

I’m so proud that Whistler has been listed as the best ski resort for Instagrammers, though I’m not surprised.  Just a two-hour drive from where I’m at, this beautiful landscape was something I grew up with. It’s the ideal holiday that’s picture-perfect for Instagrammers. Over 14,000 photos were uploaded to Instagram for its dramatic scenery and stunning snow slopes.
