Is There An Advantage To Using Bum Wipes?

Disclosure: I am bringing this post to you through my partnership with Cottonelle, their new Cottonelle Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths, and sharing the news about their #LetsTalkBums campaign.

“What are you doing?” I shrieked as I stepped into the hotel bathroom.

“Washing my hands.”

I stared at my six – yr old and nope, couldn’t do it. A roar of laughter escaped me as I saw him leaning over a bidet, water squirting up, covered in soap up to his elbows as he washed his hand.

“That’s not a sink,” I informed him. I then proceeded to explain how the bidet is used to help keep our bums clean after going to the bathroom. It was my first time seeing a bidet in a hotel room, and well most definitely my son’s as he dried his hands on the towel, then looked at me puzzled.

“Why would I use that mama, I have my wipes!”

Now who can argue with that?

Cottonelle wipes are something Trace my youngest has gotten used to having with him, so I guess the thought of him using anything else was just ridiculous, especially a toilet of sorts that seemed better at cleaning your hands than your bum!

There’s been a ton of bum talk all over the Internet lately. That’s right us moms are spreading the word, talking about bums and keeping clean and fresh. Here’s a video as Cherry stops airport travelers to find out what they think.

I don’t know about anyone else, but Cottonelle’s newest product Fresh Care Flushable Cleansing Cloths are in our bathroom regularly. Wipes aren’t just for hands, they are for bottoms too! And a clean bottom is a happy bottom!

Let’s talk bums! I know you’re saying wow that’s kinda personal but personal is important and Cottonelle wants to get you talking about your bum and a better way to be clean by using the Cottonelle Clean Routine, a combination of Cottonelle Toilet Paper and Cottonelle Flushable Cleansing Clothes.

Head on over to Cottonelle’s Facebook page  to join in the bum talk and share your fun and interesting stories on staying fresh. Trust me — your bum will thank you!

Great article! I can just picture your son using the bidet. Hilarious! There is a lot of bum talk going on that's for sure. I know it's true but it's still funny πŸ™‚

What a cute story at the beginning πŸ™‚

This isn't an embarrassing topic for me, living with IBD, this is a topic of importance. Though, I do think it's a cute campaign.
