Many people think that Las Vegas isn’t a place for anyone under the age of 21, but they are wrong. In fact, Las Vegas is a children’s playground for the young and the old.
1. Shark Reef Aquarium of Mandalay Bay
Great for kids, the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay has over 2,000 animals for kids to dive in and explore. It’s an underwater world with tons of exhibits and over 100 sharks, sting rays, and even some sea turtles. Kids will have a blast exploring.
2. Madame Tussauds Wax Museum
Kids will love walking through this creepy but fun wax museum while seeing their favorite movie star or musician made out of wax. Life-like stroll through and see Las Vegas legends of film and music and make sure to take pics along the way. Visit Madame Tussaud’s website here.
3. Hershey’s Chocolate World
Opening up in New York New York Hotel & Casino this flagship store is one my son would crave to see being he’s a huge Reese’s fan. The Hershey’s Store is a whimsical joint that allows guests to partake in chocolaty attractions along with being able to share those attractions with friends and family via interactive social media technology.
4. Las Vegas Natural History Museum
There are dinosaurs at this place – enough said, right? Just off the strip and more affordable than other things you can do, this museum has woolly mammoths like in the movie Ice Age and other wild creatures long gone the kids will just love to see from history.
5. Pinball Hall of Fame Museum
Okay first off who doesn’t love a game of pinball? This hall of fame has machines that were built from the 50’s and has classic games for all ages to enjoy. The best part is that all the money you spend goes to charity. We love that and so will your family while having a grand ole’ gaming time.
6. Fountain at Bellagio
All kids love a good water show and the Bellagio has one of the best. It’s a combination of lights, music in a dance of water. Plus it’s free to stop and watch so why not enjoy it.
7. Adventuredome at Circus Circus
Big kids and small will enjoy the world’s biggest indoor theme park. Over 25 rides and attractions including a roller coaster that goes 55 miles per hour. There’s bumper cars, circus acts.
8. Wet n’ Wild Las Vegas
If you visit Vegas when the heat is on, take a dip in the one of the biggest waterparks. So much family fun can be had spending the day slipping and sliding just make sure to pack the sunscreen.
9. CSI Experience
Something I know my 10 year old and 18 year old would absolutely love. The CSI Experience takes you on an adventure as a crime scene investigator and let’s you solve the crime. Enter the lab, look at the clues and report to Grissom. It’s an adventure worth doing.
10. Downtown Container Park
This is one of the most unusual shopping experiences, shops made out of old shipping containers. In the middle of the all the shopping and eating fun is a park you can rest, eat ice cream while the kids play in a large tree fort style park with slides and bridges.
