Alberta has always been a place I have wanted to visit. Located in the heart of Western Canada, I spent a few years as a child growing up in Edmonton, my brother was born there. Ranked in the top five on my bucket list, I want to visit the Rocky Mountains and prairies, take in the picturesque mountain town of Banff where friends of ours worked for some time, visit Lake Louise, Jasper and Canmore and photograph the beautiful scenery and wildlife. And apparently, I’m not the only one.
Bobby Brown a pro skier from Colorado wanted to dive into the adventures of Alberta like so many others. So he sought our his friend Mike Rencz a pro snowboarder from Canmore to show him around. Together they put out this series of videos that showcase Bobby’s fun to be had while visiting one of the most beautiful places in Canada.
My boys have always wanted to visit The Canadian Badlands and Drumheller to seek out dinosaur bones. I want to check out West Edmonton Mall and relish in the cities music and culture. I think it’s important being Canadian to visit these great cities we have surrounding us with so much to offer, and I want my kids to be able to say they aren’t just Canadian but have lived Canada. So hopefully one day I will get to go.
How about you? Have you ever been traveling to Alberta?
