Well if you don’t know by now, Apple has just launched two new phones for this fall. The iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s and after looking at them yesterday while browsing through the mall, the question on everyone’s mind. Are these two phones worth the upgrade?
The iPhone 5c : Colorful and Fun!
The iPhone 5c boasts several new color shells to brighten any phone users day. But is that all it boasts? Well let’s see… If you have an iPhone 5 there is really no difference to this model at all, except Apple has done a good job of returning users back to retro days with the plastic shell that encases the 5c. Other than that, the specs are pretty much the same and you can still download ios7 if you want to.
However that being said: If you are a 3g, 3gs or 4 or 4s user, then you may want to consider upgrading. But is the 5c the device for you? I would rather have the 5s if I were doing a serious upgrade. And I’ll tell you why.
The iPhone 5S is packed with new features and a sleek new design!
The iPhone 5s is sleek and sweet looking, and it’s packed with new features which include: A new A7 chipset (a step up from any) iPhone device, increasing the speed of the device. A brand new camera with new camera features including: burst shot, a larger LED flash finally, a finger print reader. But is it all enough to get people to jump in and buy? Well 9 million people have already done so between the 5c and 5s.
With newer Android phones on the market, and even Nokia’s soon to be launched 1080 with a 41 megpx camera coming aboard. Apple doesn’t seem to care. iPhone users are waiting to get their hands on these two devices and nothing about the body, scope or design has drastically changed.
Still overall, these two devices the 5c and 5s should keep consumers busy for a while, at least until the next or newer device is launched to peek their curiosity. I for one love the design of the 5s and the feel of it in my hand. I also love camera on it, as I don’t care what anyone says — iPhones take great pictures!
What about you? What Apple Device do you own? Are you upgrading?
