Easter isn’t just for kids. It’s a time to reflect on what’s important, as all holidays are. Every Easter I try to come up with some unique way to send my hubby a special treat. Not just a basket full of chocolates, but something special and different.
For example, one year I gave a booklet with redeemable coupons for things like ‘Get out of Dishes freebie’ or ‘Free Massage for 30 minutes’ something romantic and chosen just for him. Here are some more great Romantic Easter Surprises to Give to Him or Her.
Message In A Bottle
I love this idea. Get an old bottle and decorate it any way you wish. Put a love quote or inspirational message inside. Or you could even put many thoughts you have so your loved one can read one per day until next Easter on all the ways you love and appreciate them.
A Chocolate Message of Love Baci Perugina
You can read all about how my hubby surprised me with a box of chocolate love from my favorite chocolate Baci Perugina. Easter is not Easter without chocolate. So this year I’ve put my own messages inside Baci’s Easter eggs for him to hunt and find. Baci is by far the best chocolate ever and if you visit their website you can read about how it all started with a romance story which I just love!
You can find Baci eggs anywhere, your local grocery store even carries them. I got mine at Superstore. You unravel the tinfoil and put your own little message inside and wrap it back up. Super easy and a really sweet way to leave love notes for someone special from the bunny!
A Piece of the Puzzle
I saw this one and thought omg how super cute. It’s a puzzle with a hand written saying from him to her or vice versa and you can pick up a little stand at the dollar store so you can showcase the piece in your home. A basket with a bunny holding the puzzle piece would be the perfect gift for someone you love.
Best Days Reminder
This is another keepsake. A framed photo with the dates for the first day you met, the day she said yes or he said yes, and the best day which of course the day you both said ‘I do’ in a frame of your choice. This one would be perfect for those DIY’ers out there and easy enough to print off and make on your own. Again put it in a basket surrounded by decadent chocolate and eggs, ribbon and love.
