Brand Maybelline Canada | Product Review
Summer is coming. I can feel it. The days are now finally warmer compared to the drab rain we’d been getting, and it feels amazing! But what’s even more amazing is Maybelline has some new products all ready to help your skin look and feel great for summer. Come on and let’s check it out.
There are so many fab products in the Maybelline line this spring and more coming for summer, I don’t even know where to begin. As you can see in the video the red color on my lips is bold and dramatic but fun. So, I guess I will start there.
Don’t hold back, surrender your lips to spring with Limited Edition #colordrama lip crayons and #makeithappen with Maybelline. I love these large, fat lip crayons with great bold colors and even nude shades for more subtle moisturizing to choose from.
You do not want to wait to get these amazing lip crayons. Not only does the color last but you don’t have to use a lot surprisingly. They are also selling out fast. I went to three stores to pick up more colors and sadly there were none. So as soon as new supply comes in, I’m jumping all over these.
I’m loving the Colossal Big Shot Mascara. I have no eye-lashes as I said in my video and I don’t. It’s sad. I also hate wearing mascara that feels caked on all day long, as it often irritates my eyes.
This is how my eyes look when using Colossal Big Shot. I like that it’s non-irritating and provides bold black color to my lashes. It actually makes me look like I have lashes a bit which is great and makes my green eyes stand out.
Let’s Get Our Face On
I prefer concealer sticks to liquid make-up. How about you? I love having a concealer stick to provide more coverage hiding dark circles (yeah I have them) under my eyes and Maybelline’s Dream Brightening Creamy Concealer is great for that. I actually have two. One darker for spots and blemishes on my face to dab and hide. Plus I have an ivory (lighter) color for under my eyes and over my lids as a base coat to keep those dark spots at bay.
If you ask me what’s in my beauty bag, I will tell you Facestudio Master anything is there. I love my eye shadows, and now I have the blush color + highlight kit to add in this master blush compact. The plum color on the right looks extremely dark but man it’s such a nice light plum on your cheeks. Mix it with the pink and you have a nice hue of radiant rosy cheeks to sport all day long.
Note: Another thing I have to note. I have dropped this compact (because I’m clumsy) like five times since getting it nearly three weeks ago, and guess what? It has no broken into pieces. I know that may not seem like much, but let me tell you how annoying that is when you pay for make-up and it falls apart. So this is a great must-have!
Now in the video, I tell you that I didn’t know what to make of this at first. A brow mascara? Well after weeks of using this, I’m saying bye bye to brow pencils. That’s right, this is one of my favorite Maybelline products to date! Why? Because it’s so easy to use to sculpt your brows how you want them. It dries super fast. It doesn’t run (not even in the rain) and it rains a lot here. Washes off nice, too. So yes, give Eyestudio Brow Drama Sculpting Mascara from Maybelline a try. You won’t be disappointed.
Maybelline also has a brow helper on their website. It’s kinda fun. You upload a pic of yourself, choose your face shape, choose your brow dilemma, mine is unruly brows as you can see I have. It takes the information and inputs and brings back what you need in products and what shape you should go for. For me it said my round, thick, unruly brows need higher arches. So, I’ll work on that.
All of these products were sent to me by Maybelline to test and try out to provide honest feedback to your guys. You know if I don’t like it, I’m going to tell ya-all. Products can be purchased at Shopper’s Drug Mart, Walmart, and anywhere that sells Maybelline, including their website www.maybelline.ca
