With so many apps out there for iphone and android devices, it is easy for parents to get caught up in all the cool stuff they can add to their phone that can help make life easier. But what about apps for kids? There are so many apps for kids with special needs that deserve attention, and even if your child doesn’t have special needs. These apps are a great learning tool, fun to play with too!
Seasons & Weather
Learn all about the weather with this great app from apple. You can buy the app for $3.99 and it teaches kids the different season and how weather works.
One of my favorite apps for kids, teaching them how to read in a fun and interactive way. The app is only $2.99 at iTunes and worth every single penny. Kids will have a blast learning to read using Reading Raven and diving into each lesson that features interactive games.
Dr. Suess Birthday Special
Who doesn’t love Green Eggs & Ham? It was my favorite book growing up as a child, as was everything Suess style. Well now A4WCN is showcasing the special on everything Dr. Suess to celebrate the birthday extravaganza.
Voted one of the best apps ever! And I have to agree, Chore pad makes teaching children with or without special needs responsibility for their own surroundings.
